An excellent piece of gear for a driver or anyone
By: Christopher Jackson on 8 August 2022This is a really outstanding chest rig, it is very well constructed and the materials are high quality. The layout was well thought out, and if you get this chest rig, you should pair it with a dangler pouch. The harness can be configured in an "H" or "X" fashion. It has a loop on one of the shoulder straps, that when used as an "X" harness, allows one strap to be passed through the loop on the other, giving more stability. The harness if anything is much stronger than it needs to be. The body is made of lightweight 330D nylon and while not as hard wearing as 500D, it should be more than enough for a rig like this. It also has a map pocket and while I don't use that pocket, it's always nice to have one on any sort of chest rig. On mine I use a SORD "On the man full" dangler for my IFAK, two SORD 30's, and I carry a USGI strap cutter on the horizontal webbing. I shock corded an extra tourniquet to the webbing on one of the SORD 30's. I've worn it in my truck and its not at all cumbersome. I think it would be great for drivers or anyone in a confined space, who would be using this in a defensive role with a PDW. If you need something to carry an IFAK and couple magazines and a strap cutter, that won't be in your way when you're sitting a vehicle, this is perfect.
